Grain Free Salmon Dog Treats

For dogs who are a fan of fish, these tasty salmon dog treats are sure to leave them begging for more. Our grain free salmon dog treats are hand-baked and made with only natural ingredients. Perfect for even the most sensitive of tummies, each heart shaped treat can be easily broken in two for smaller dogs, or just to make them last longer.

If you're a big fan of salmon treats for dogs, you might also like our Fishy Treat Bundle, available to shop here.

Composition:

Salmon Meal (30%), Sweet Potato (24%), Pea Flour (20%), Vegetable Glycerine (15%), Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil (7.5%), Dried Parsley (1%), Dried Dill (1%), Yucca Extract (0.1%).

Analytical constituents:

Crude Protein 23.1%, Crude Fibre 1.4%, Crude Fat 10%, Crude Ash 6.9%, Moisture 20%.

Nutritional additives:

None

Treats are for special occasions, and should only play a small part in your dog’s balanced diet. Even if they use their most convincing ‘puppy eyes’ to try to persuade you otherwise. For small dogs or puppies over 2 months old, we recommed breaking the treat in half for the perfect bite. Make sure fresh drinking water is always available.

Store in a cool, dry place. Reseal the pack after opening and use within 2 weeks.

Definitely my dogs favourite treats and easy to break up for training sessions. Great ingredients too!
Felicity Munns
My 15 year old Pomeranian loves these treats but my only concern is that they were/are quite hard. I have to break them up for her as she only has a few teeth left but once she gets those into the treats they are quickly dispatched!
Tracy Wright
our dog mollie loves her salmon treats and now she has the salmon oil too
Steven Renton
Healthy dog training and bribery treats excellent size for my bigger dogs but easy to break in half for smaller bites.

FAQs

Unfortunately, it is possible to overfeed treats so as much as we love our four-legged friends, it's worth being cautious about how many treats you feed. Dogs who are given too many treats can end up with the following health problems:

  • Weight Gain: An overweight dog isn't a happy dog, being overweight can put a strain on joints, bones and the overall likelihood of serious health concerns increases dramatically. It's always best to seek advice from your vet if your dog starts putting on excess weight.
  • Nutrient Deficiencies: Although even the best and most natural treats can provide some valuable nutrition for your dog, If treats make up a large portion of your dog's diet, they may not be getting enough of the essential nutrients from their regular food.

Each dog is different so exactly how many treats is difficult to say however we wouldn't recommend exceeding more than 10% of your dogs total daily calorie allowance in treats. For an accurate calorie calculation, you will need to speak to your vet.

Each dog is different but in our experience high protein baked treats are a hit! They are easy to take on the go and can be broken so that you don't accidentally overfeed. Lots of treats on the market contain cereals and junk so opt for natural treats when you can.

If you're looking for something you already have at home, carrots, broccoli, seedless apple slices and rice cakes can be inexpensive alternatives to ready made dog treats. Be careful to check what fruits dogs can eat before treating.

Our soft treats can be enjoyed from 2 months + making them perfect for dogs or puppies.

Whilst our natural cuts treats can be enjoyed by slightly older puppies 4 months +.

Our dental sticks are suitable for dogs aged 1 year +.
