"From the moment they are weaned, puppies need to be fed the correct ratio of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and calcium for their growing bodies. This ensures the puppy develops at an optimal growth rate (not too fast but not too slow) with healthy joints, forms a strong immune system and maintains an ideal body weight throughout each stage of their development to help set them up for a healthy, long and happy life."
