Location: Okehampton, Devon.
Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours) Rotating: Week 1 (0600 - 1400) Week 2 (1400 - 2200) Plus Saturday working on Overtime (time and one half).
Flexible approach to working hours required.
Role Summary:
Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment whilst ensuring that all H&S procedures, and engineering best practice is adhered to at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used.
- Carry out routine maintenance and planned preventative maintenance.
- Attend and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Promote and complete CI work to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Times served apprenticeship or equivalent
- Recognised Engineering qualification
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Flexible working attitude
- Competent electrical / fault finding & analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Methodical & strong attention to detail
