Forthglade Is A Force For Good
As a B Corp, we’re proud to use our business as a force for good, strengthening the UK’s dog welfare ecosystem by supporting rescue centres, community charities, and the people who rely on their pets for companionship, stability, and emotional connection. That’s why Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for us in the Forthglade pack, is really Canine Social Responsibility.
There are so many inspiring charities working across the UK to help dogs in need – here’s how we’ve joined forces with some of them recently, helping to amplify their impact…

Lending A Helping Paw
Like everyone, we’re deeply saddened by the ongoing suffering of all sentient beings affected by the war in Ukraine. Rolda, a UK registered charity is actively working with partner organisations on the ground. Aide is given to any beings they come across in distress, from humans to horses, dogs, cats and many more. Many of these animals have suffered physical trauma and Rolda provide funds for life-saving surgeries, all have suffered mentally.
After seeing the great work Rolda were doing we reached out to see how we could help amplify their efforts. So far, we’ve donated 3 pallets of natural wet food which Rolda sent onto the ARK Shelter in Ukraine where they care for hundreds of dogs.

Support From Our Team
But we we’re keen to make this a wider team effort and our dog-loving team were keen to get involved:
🐾 Claire, our Supply Chain Manager and resident animal hero gave, Teddy, a dog in their care a loving foster home to come to.
🐾 Liane, our CSR Manager is doing a trail run in March to help raise vital funds.
🐾 Some of our team are hoping to volunteer in their Romanian dog rescue centre in Spring, providing much needed relief for the busy team there.

It’s ‘Pet Dental Month’ For All Dogs
We’re delighted to support the completely volunteer-run, Boomerangs Pet Food Bank – helping to keep families experiencing financial hardship across East Anglia, united with their beloved pets. At present they’re supporting nearly 2.5k dogs every month, to support them we’ve donated:

🐾 Over 2k natural and complete meals for dogs

Our Happy Paws charities
The Rescue Hotel
Through our ‘Happy Paws’ program, we’re delighted to support the amazing work of ‘The Rescue Hotel’ and many other charities helping dogs in need.
At The Rescue Hotel, the dedication is inspiring:
They support approximately 60 dogs in their care at any one time
🐾 850 dogs in need are supported annually
🐾 On average, 350 dogs each year are never reclaimed and are placed for adoption
Their on-site vet helps keep dogs with their families by offering support not only to the dogs at the home but also provides low-cost basic health care to those in the community – no eligibility requirements, just help when it’s needed most ❤️
In the past year alone, the team has:
🐾 Carried out 1,000+ surgeries
🐾 Neutered 943 dogs
🐾 Delivered 2,472 vaccinations
Their mission is simple but powerful: to find the right forever family (and comfy sofa!) for every dog, offering UK-wide adoptions focused on the perfect match.
