Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment whilst ensuring that all H&S procedures, and engineering best practice is always adhered to.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used.
- Carry out routine maintenance and planned preventative maintenance.
- Attend and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Promote and complete CI work to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Times served apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Recognised Engineering qualification.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with high-speed packaging automation and robotics.
- Flexible working attitude
- Competent electrical / fault finding & analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Methodical & strong attention to detail
