Site Services Supervisor

Location: Okehampton, Devon.

Hours: 5 days per week - 40 hours. Monday - Friday. Flexible approach to working hours required.

Department: Engineering

Salary: Dependent on experience

Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays

 

Role Summary

 

To provide continuous service from all utilities onsite and develop, plan and assist with projects that will be beneficial to staff and Company through best practice and operational excellence within engineering. To co-ordinate and optimize running of all site services and utilities resources, training and processes to deliver business targets and objectives.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

Management and Optimisation of Site Utilities and Services:

 

  • Ensure Legislative and Statutory Compliance and Health and Safety conformance to meet all audit requirements
  • Maintain and improve performance continuity by use of maintenance and continuous monitoring
  • Cost Optimisation by future strategy and projects
  • Sustainability and optimization to become best in class

 

Person Specification

 
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and best practice
  • Electrical / mechanical qualifications and time served experience.
  • Experience of working at an engineering team level within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of working on site facilities and utilities systems
  • Good numeracy and literary.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively.
  • Must be trustworthy, reliable and punctual in keeping with the company values.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and the ability to flex around the requirements of the business.
