Mid Weight Graphic Designer

 

Location: Okehampton, Devon combined with WFH

Hours: Mon-Fri 37.5 hour week.

Salary: Dependant on experience

Holiday: 23 days + Bank Holidays

Reporting into: Senior Designer

 

Role Summary

 

It’s an exciting time to join the Forthglade family as we make ourselves at home in our brand-new state-of-the-art factory in Okehampton. We’ve been proudly producing natural pet food in Devon since 1971, and things have changed a lot since then. Today we produce more than 750,000 trays of food for dogs every week, but one thing remains the same; customers remain at the heart of what we do.

 

This is a vital role within our marketing team, where the successful candidate will support on key activities driven by sales and marketing including POS, emails, website & social media.

 

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Implement content changes in our website through Shopify/Shogun as needed
  • Build and deploy email activity in Klaviyo as defined by the marketing plan
  • Create digital imagery/assets as needed to support our digital marketing activity
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and external design agencies on the creation of marketing collateral
  • Help to manage Dash (DAM) library of assets so that they are up to date and accessible to the sales and marketing team
  • Develop Social Media Asset packs
  • Create Print design projects such as flyers, posters, brochures and POS
  • Support on ad-hoc projects across marketing as needed e.g.

Produce web banners

Resize print advertisement

Retouching images after photoshop

Assist on the development of assets for shows and events

      Skills & Knowledge

    •  

      • Highly creative and imaginative
      • Multichannel experience with the ability to created integrated concepts across digital and print
      • Minimum 3/4 years’ experience in a graphic design role
      • Fully proficient in Adobe programmes – with a strong background in Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator
      • Good numeracy and literary skills – copywriting skills would be advantageous
      • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
      • Ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively
      • Must be trustworthy, reliable and punctual
      • Flexible approach in terms of working hours

        • Illustration skills using vector based software such as Adobe Illustrator
        • Motion video experience, using software such as After Effects/Premiere
