Compliance Auditor

Location: Okehampton, Devon.

Hours: 5 days per week - 35.7 hours. Monday - Friday

Department: Technical

Salary: Dependent on experience

Holiday: 25 days + Bank Holidays

 

Role Summary

 

To assist in the Development and implementation of the site Food Safety Manufacturing Compliance Audit System and Standard. Management of the site QSHE System, Log, tracking results and confirming close outs. Monthly Factory QSHE Audit of all Factory areas, Record and Trend results. Work with site teams to raise Standards and awareness of GMP.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure a proactive Food Safety Culture, and manage the FSC Plan.
  • Monthly QSHE Audits in all site areas, Record and Trend results.
  • CCP Monitoring.
  • Management of the site QSHE Log, tracking results and confirming close out.
  • Management and Co-ordination of Internal and Environmental Audits and Schedules.
  • Co-Ordination of Monthly stop and search and locker search.
  • Training and Inductions support for QSHE Standards.
  • To cover other Quality roles as & when required.

Ensuring Health & Safety excellence both in legislative compliance and behavioural conformance are systemised, tracked, and delivered alongside an increasing focus on the sustainability and environmental impact of the business.

 

Skills and Personal Attributes

 

  • HACCP Level 3 and/or Food Safety Level 3
  • Lead quality auditor qualification
  • Food and/or pet food manufacturing experience
  • Establishing an ‘everyday’ Audit standard – knowledgeable in: BRC, APHA, SEDEX, Key Customer standards e.g. private label customers or grocers
  • Risk assessment, mitigation, and appropriate escalation
  • Provide direction on standards for our Co-Manufacturers – able to audit and support them to meet our standards.
