Thank you!

It’s been a busy couple of months in Devon and we, along with many of our customers wanted to take the time to say a massive thank you to our incredible factory team.

As a BRC accredited food production site we take our hygiene standards very seriously and have closely followed government guidelines to ensure our team and customers remain our top priority. Fortunately, this has allowed us to continue producing dinners for dogs whilst minimising and risk to our team.

We’re delighted to have received lots of positive messages, pictures and videos from our customers and have shared each of these with our factory team over the weeks.

Thank you to our amazing customers for continuing to support Forthglade and if you’d like to leave a message of support or thanks for our team then head over to our FacebookInstagram or Twitter pages.

Best wishes

Next day delivery is back

The safety and welfare of our team remain our top priorities and we continue to closely follow government guidelines. We have a number of measures in place to minimise risk to our team and are working hard to produce and send out your orders.

We're pleased to say that our next day delivery service (DPD) is now available for orders placed before 2pm Mon-Thu and for all other orders, the delivery period remains 3 - 5 days.

Thank you for all your support during this time, it means a lot to us and as a team, we've loved to read all the lovely messages we've received from so many of our customers.

Tuesday 14th April

We're operating as usual

Thank you again for all of your support. Our factory team are still very busy cooking our much-loved dinners for dog's and we're continuing to deliver our customer orders within the usual 3-5 working day timescale.

We will be re-introducing our next day and Saturday (DPD) delivery options at the end of this week, following the Bank Holiday orders.

If you’ve any questions or concerns please get in touch.

Friday 20th March

An update on our deliveries

We’ve seen a higher than usual level of orders over the last week or so and our warehouse team are working very hard to get everything out as quickly as possible.

We’re currently operating within our 3-5 day delivery timescale for standard Royal Mail delivery, and we’ll let you know if this changes.

As usual, our standard delivery option is free on orders over £25, or £2.99 for orders under this amount. You’ll receive an email from us to confirm when your order has been dispatched, and Royal Mail will aim to deliver your order within 48 hours of dispatch. Please keep in mind though, that as with all delivery businesses, they’re very busy at the moment so there could be a small delay.

We’ve temporarily removed next day (DPD) delivery as an option on our website to help us get everyone’s orders out as quickly as possible.

If you’ve any questions or concerns about placing an order, or about delivery of an existing order please get in touch.

Best wishes

The Forthglade Team

Wednesday 18th March

We're operating as usual

We wanted to reassure you that we’re doing everything we can to ensure that your four-legged friends can continue to enjoy Forthglade throughout this period of uncertainty.

The welfare of our team & customers remains our top priority. As a BRC accredited food production site, we take our hygiene standards very seriously and over the last couple of weeks we’ve introduced increased measures to minimise the risk. Actions taken have included banning all non-business critical visitors to our site, asking office-based staff to work from home where possible, temporarily cancelling all non-business critical travel and increasing the number of hand sanitising points throughout our site.

We’re working with each of our suppliers to ensure that they have robust plans in place to allow us to continue receiving the ingredients we need to produce our recipes. We’re confident that we have plans in place that will ensure our factory operates as smoothly as possible throughout this period.

Over the last week we’ve seen a significant increase in orders which reflects the general feeling of uncertainty that everyone is currently feeling. Please be assured we have enough stock to keep up with these orders, and we’re not anticipating any issues with producing our food.

Our delivery services (Royal Mail & DPD) are largely operating as normal, albeit that they’re very busy due to the sheer volume of people stockpiling their favourite items.

We will, of course, continue to follow the latest advice from the government and keep you updated on any changes. In the meantime if you’ve any questions or concerns please feel free to get in touch

Best wishes
