National Pet Month

1st April - 6th May

National Pet Month starts today, and for the next month or so, thousands of people up and down the country will be celebrating life with their pets, spreading the word on responsible pet ownership and helping to raise money for their favourite charities with fun-filled events until 6th May.

National Pet Month is a registered charity, unique in bringing together animal welfare charities, professional bodies, pet businesses, schools, youth groups and pet lovers in order to promote responsible pet ownership, increase awareness of the mutual benefits of living with pets, raise awareness of the role of pet care specialists and highlight the importance of working and assistance companion animals.

Celebrating its 30th year, National Pet Month takes place 1st April – 6th May 2019 and you are invited to take part. Thousands of people up and down the UK will be celebrating life with their pets. If you'd like to get involved, click here to register. You'll then have access to the National Pet Month ‘Toolkit’ and be able to download awareness raising posters, event planning tips and you can log your event on our map.
