Love Moor Life

supporting Dartmoor National Park

Back in April we shared that we're supporting Dartmoor National Park and the wonderful work done by the Dartmoor team in their mission to conserve its natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage. With over 450 miles of walks and adventures in open moor, wooded valleys and along rivers, it's the perfect place to enjoy with your four-legged friend.

The Dartmoor Rangers team care passionately about conserving the environment on Dartmoor; it’s a unique protected landscape with rare wildlife, free-roaming livestock and ponies - which is why the team have been encouraging all their visitors to play their part in keeping Dartmoor National Park the natural, beautiful landscape it is through their Love Moor Life campaign.

The Dartmoor Ranger team give out on-the-spot rewards to visitors they spot following the Range Code - you could receive a bag of our delicious mini love treats, or even a lead, or poo bag holder! And if you're not spotted by the Ranger team you can share your photos on social media using the hashtag #lovemoorlife to be in with a chance of winning one of their seasonal prizes.

Dartmoor ranger code

  • Close gates behind you
  • Use a designated campsite, or check the Dartmoor National Park website for info on where to camp
  • Share the roads & bridleways
  • Keep your dog on a lead
  • Bag up litter and take it home with you
  • Don't feed the ponies

We're delighted to have had lots of lovely feedback from the Dartmoor Ranger team on how well-received our mini treats have been by four-legged visitors to the moor!
